AJAX Features Now Available
Offering an unparalleled level of interactive abilities in ASP.NET
Charts
If you are looking to impress your end users with advanced, interactive ASP.NET charts with full AJAX implementation, then Dundas Chart for .NET is what you need.
What is AJAX? AJAX is essentially a development technique that enables you to refresh a part of a web page without having to refresh the entire page. This achieves a much cleaner refresh and definitely improves on the usability of a web page - and can add some nice touches.
With AJAX, Dundas Chart for .NET has built-in capabilities for you to add toolbars, context menus, property dialogs, zooming, scrolling, highlighting and much more to ASP.NET charts, all without using postbacks for a fluid user experience. In addition, you can write your own methods to handle events on the client-side using our existing architecture.
Since the interactive features are AJAX based, they are supported across
most browsers.
(Note that the AJAX features are available for
the Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 editions only)

Interactive Legends
The new AJAX support gives users the ability to interact with the legend on the Web to update a chart, without posting back to the server.
Callback Events
The powerful Callback event allows ASP.NET developers to update data relating to a specific chart element without performing a server refresh. This eliminates flickering on the page and enhances the overall chart experience. Use the Callback event to pop-up new dialogs, add expand/collapse functionality, update chart information or add your own customized chart functionality.
